Olive-tree pearl. Next door has olive trees. This is a scarce migrant not yet known to breed in UK. This is only the 4th or 5th record in Staffs.

                       Beautiful plume moth. Common, but like the Brindled plume moth and has to be examined closely each time.

 Metzneria lappella, New to SK00 area. Likes Burdock.

 

Coronet. New to the area (SK00).

 Probably the clearest image yet.

 These two arrived early in the evening last night. 

 First day of Summer and mother turns up with two cubs. Where are the other two?

                                                I was wrong. Mother had four cubs this year.

Badger path to garden

  

Desire paths. Every evening my father leaves out food for the badgers and every night a family of them walk through the field to come and eat. Look, you can see the route they’ve worn.
